This could spell trouble for the new couple even before walking down the aisle. A prenup is a dangerous yet often necessary inclusion in a marriage, especially when a lot of money is involved and when the two parties aren't bringing the same amount to the table. Jennifer Aniston, it would seem, can't get fiance Justin Theroux to sign on the dotted line.

Life & Style Magazine seems to think that this is the main reason why Jen and Justin's wedding plans have been dragging on forever, despite weekly rumors that the two actors are close to getting married. But because the partners can't see eye to eye about who gets what in case of a divorce, their wedding preparations are taking longer than expected.

An insider dishes some of the details, “Haggling over assets and money put a real damper on Jen and Justin’s wedding planning for months.”

In fact, it's gotten so bad that some of the couple's friends are beginning to worry these two won't even make it to the aisle on the big day. And they have a reason for that, because, as a second source confirms, they have already canceled the wedding three times since they got engaged in August 2012.

The reason for this dispute is of course the fact that Jennifer is bringing in a lot more cash than Justin. Sure, Theroux is a successful actor, but he's not nearly worth as much as Jennifer, who, in her glory days, used to pull in one million dollars for an episode of “Friends.”

A simple calculation shows that Justin's 20 million dwindle in the face of Jennifer's 150. Understandably, she's looking to protect her estate and this is causing a lot of friction. But this wasn't always so.

In the beginning, Jennifer was willing to go ahead with the marriage without any prenuptial agreement, putting her trust in the man she loved. It was her friends who pulled her back for a second and reminded her that “she's been burned before in breakups” so she should protect her assets.

Maybe Jennifer could take a hint from her good friend Courtney Cox, who has managed to find a good man, fall in love with him and now there are rumors she might even marry him before Jennifer even gets to try on a wedding dress. Of course, Courtney doesn't have the time to fool around anymore these days, whereas Jen seems to be in no rush to make her marriage official.
