14 DAY TRIAL // Just recently, Jennifer Aniston admitted in an interview that she was the happiest since she's ever been, adding that she had her current beau, Justin Theroux, to thank for it. Things had taken a turn for the worse ever since, claims a new report.
The National Enquirer claims in its latest print edition (story via here) that Jennifer has recently learned that Justin has been keeping in contact with his ex all this time, and never mentioned it to her.
Before Jennifer met Justin and started romancing him, he'd been with stylist Heidi Bivens for 14 years, with reports even saying that they were engaged.
The two actors have repeatedly denied they got together while Justin was still with Heidi, but some still believe that to be the case.
Editors for the aforementioned tab are among those who say Justin “dumped” Heidi to be with Jennifer.
Apparently, the two exes have been keeping in touch for quite some time, and Aniston is furious about it, thinking that Justin has betrayed her.
They've been fighting a lot over that lately, unnamed source claiming to have good knowledge of the situation say.
“In Jennifer’s book, what Justin did was cheating – he was going behind her back to maintain ties with his ex. She was furious and read him the riot act, plunging their relationship into crisis,” one such spy is quoted as saying.
“[Justin has been] calling, texting and e-mailing Heidi without Jen’s knowledge. They stayed in touch very sporadically at first, but now they’re talking all the time. He’ll e-mail, text or call – when Jen’s not around, of course – and they talk about everything,” the source adds.
It's been going on like this for months. Justin even talks to Heidi about his love life and, on more than one occasion, asked her for advice on his career.
Obviously, when Jennifer found out, she took it to heart. If one is to believe the insider, the gorgeous actress feels “threatened” by Heidi, and the fact that Justin went this far to hide from her that they were still in touch does nothing to make her feel more secure.
“For Jen, it’s the ultimate betrayal. Justin has a lot of explaining to do to regain her trust, and it may be too late already. She’d livid with him for disrespecting her so blatantly,” the spy says.
“She had no idea he was still in touch with Heidi until recently, when she caught him texting her from their Hollywood home. He tried to shrug it off by saying it was no big deal, but Jen can’t believe he would do it behind her back, and it make her wonder what else he’s hiding from her,” adds the same source.
