Just as the drama Brad Pitt caused a while back with his comments about how his marriage to Jennifer Aniston was “dull” was starting to die down, a new report suggests that Jen’s current beau, Justin Theroux, may not be all that he seems.Keith Middlebrook met Theroux on the set of “Iron Man 2,” whose script he penned and in which Middlebrook had a part, Star magazine writes in its latest print issue (story via

The two struck up friendship and, in almost no time, were telling each other secrets from the past. For some reason, Middlebrook is now speaking to the tabloids about it.
As he puts it, back then, Theroux didn’t consider Aniston hot enough to be worthy of his interest – but he didn’t feel the same about Angelina Jolie.
“We talked about writing, women and drugs! My number one was Jennifer Aniston, and he raised his eyebrow,
intrigued,” Middlebrook is quoted as saying.
“He said Angelina Jolie. I laughed, saying the only fat she has is in her lips, and he quipped, ‘That’s the only place she needs it!’” he adds.
Nevertheless, that’s not the most shocking revelation Justin’s former pal has to make. Apparently, he has other things in common with Angelina Jolie than Jen, like a troubled past riddled with drug and alcohol abuse.
Middlebrook claims that, despite Theroux’s lean and impressive physique, he’s no stranger to heavy drugs.
“He told me about using powerful painkillers like Dilaudid, as well as mushrooms, ecstasy, cocaine, heroin, LSD and crack,” Middlebrook says.
“He was definitely a big drinker. Then no one heard from him for a year – then when I saw him, he told me he’d been in AA and getting used to being sober,” an unnamed spy chimes in, adding alcoholism to an already very long list of issues Justin struggled with.
Middlebrook also tells Star he asked Justin why he didn’t marry longtime girlfriend Heidi Bivens and was surprised to hear him say that he
didn’t want to “ruin it” by tying the knot.
*[Update October 3, 2011]: Gossip Gop tracked down Middlebrook and he claims he was misquoted by Star and Radar Online, that he never said that Justin admitted to him ever taking drugs.
