Justin Bieber’s Hairdo Doesn’t Come Cheap

His is the most popular hairdo with teens right now, boys and girls alike. However, getting styled doesn’t come cheap for pop star Justin Bieber, at $750 a pop, twice a month, as his personal hairstylist says for the latest issue of Life & Style magazine.

As we also noted on at least a couple of previous occasions, The Biebs is probably the only pop star right now who can make headlines by simply getting a haircut – and not a fancy or too drastic one either.

His own stylist, Vanessa Price, the woman who invented the ‘do now known as “The Bieber” in 2009, was surprised by how the world reacted to it. Clearly, she never expected it to catch on like this.

“I usually cut his hair every couple of weeks when he’s on tour,” Price reveals for the aforementioned magazine. It makes sense, since Bieber has to look his best when he’s in front of Beliebers.

“But great hair doesn’t come cheap: Vanessa, who makes house calls only, charges roughly $750 per cut! Plenty of other people are trying to profit off the teen’s locks too,” Life & Style writes.

In other words, they tried to convince her to give them the hair that’s left on the floor after she’s done with Justin.

“I’ve heard adults joke they were going to take his hair after I cut it. I tell them they’re really creepy,” she says of turning them down.

As for how insanely popular the Bieber cut became, “We both were shocked people cared that much about someone’s hair!” Price says.

Of course, if Bieber pays $750 for a simple cut, that doesn’t mean that kids trying to replicate his look should also come prepared with the same amount. Or, better yet, that their parents should break the bank to pay for them to get it.

“It’s the most popular boys’ cut across the country. Prices start at $14,” Melanie Ash, senior artistic director for Supercuts, explains for the celebrity mag.
