While he's believed to be spending a small fortune on himself, girlfriend Selena Gomez and his maternal grandparents, Justin Bieber can't be bothered to care about his other relatives, his paternal grandparents, says a new report.
Sources close to the parents of his father tell the latest print issue of the National Enquirer (story via
here) that they struggle to make ends meet, whereas their millionaire grandchild is living life large.
As if that wasn't enough, the report claims Justin's grandmother works in a factory and does the most physically challenging job imaginable.
She wouldn't want to bust her back – almost literally – every day, but she doesn't have a choice, since she's the only one in the household with a job and they couldn't pay their bills otherwise.
“Sources tell the Enquirer that [Justin] hasn’t given one thin dime to his struggling grandparents George and Kathy Bieber, who lovingly cared for him as a baby,” the tabloid writes.
“George – the biological father of Justin’s dad Jeremy – has been out of work for months with a back injury, which his wife Kathy, 54, works like a dog at a sweltering factory job, insiders say,” the Enquirer claims.
The source describes Kathy's job as one of the most difficult ever. Given she's family to the biggest pop star of the moment, she shouldn't have to work this hard at her age.
“Kathy works hard to make ends meet, and she and George are hurt that Justin hasn’t offered them any financial assistance,” says an insider.
For the past 2 decades, she's worked at Stackpole Carrier Systems, a metal components manufacturer in Stratford, Ontario, the tipster explains.
“Kathy has the filthiest, hottest and most physically demanding job in the factory. She spends a large part of her days lifting 50-pound bags of raw powder, and then dumping the powder into a large mixer,” the source says.
“The factory has 15 furnaces going at full blast, so the room where Kathy works normally maintains a temperature of around 102 degrees… With George out of work, they struggle to pay the bills and put food on the table,” says the same spy.
Voices online point out that, if the report is accurate, Justin is acting like an ungrateful brat, especially considering
how much money he's reportedly spent lately on impressing girlfriend Selena.
