Justin Bieber's grandmother is named Diane Dale and, apparently, she's not the biggest fan of his fashion style. During the premiere for the pop singer's latest film “Believe,” she spoke her mind on the matter.

“He should pick up his pants,” the grandma noted when prompted by reporters about Justin's attire. But this conservative opinion is not shared by everyone in the family. Bruce Dale, Diane's husband and Justin's grandfather, disagrees. “I like it” was all that he said on the matter.

The grandmother also spoke out about all the bad press Justin has been getting for his antics. “I just ignore it,” she confessed. “It's going to happen anyways. It doesn't matter who you are and a lot of it isn't even in true. Some of it is, but life's got to go on. He's 19 and he's got a camera shoved in his face and lots of money. What do you want?”

On this matter, the elderly couple did see eye to eye, because grandpa said pretty much the same thing “He's still a teenager growing up in the spotlight. How would you like to wake up in the morning with a camera shoved in your face? I don't blame him for acting out. I would.”

The Bieber grandparents were present at the film premiere together with the artist's mother and they were all very supportive. The film “Believe” is the second made by director Jon M. Chu, who is also responsible for Justin's prior film “Justin Bieber: Never Say Never.”

The director also spoke out on the way the media has been portraying the pop singer and thinks that his movie will show you a different side of Justin, “I think if [moviegoers] see Justin the way I see Justin, they'll accept him - warts and all - and see that he's not as bad as the press makes him out to be sometimes, and he's not as innocent as he tries to paint himself sometimes. He's a troublemaker. It's what he is and he's charming as hell, but that's who he is and that's what makes him Justin Bieber.”

Justin's last tour has been plagued with troubles and fraught with scandals, ranging from drug possession to graffiti spray painting hotels and urinating in public. Recently, Justin has taken a more active approach to cleaning up his image, even if he announced in a radio interview he was considering retiring after his next album comes out.
