Justin Bieber is turning out to be better than a cat with nine lives, except he's not dodging death, he's dodging jail time. Of course, it may have something to do with the full-time team of lawyers working around the clock to get him out of his many troubles with the law.

TMZ reports that the singer has just managed to avoid another legal bullet: his Toronto assault case from December last year, in which he was accused of trying to punch a limo driver. It has been reported that the charges were simply dropped and this means Justin is free to go forth and pick on other people. This is not Justin Bieber's first incident, quite the opposite

The Canadian singer has a long history of getting rough with paparazzi, but the December incident saw him lashing out at a limo driver. Bieber has also shown that he can be quite reckless in traffic as well, being arrested for drag racing and DUI in Miami in February this year, and being spotted driving on the sidewalk just to avoid a traffic light.

Momentarily, it is unclear how or why the charges have been dropped, but the main speculation is the the case was settled out of court for a handsome some for the driver who then conveniently agreed to go home and tear up the paperwork against the singer.

This makes it the third time this year Justin has managed to dodge jail time. The first was when he copped a plea deal in his Miami DUI case and landed himself on a probation. The second time was when he somehow got cleared of the vandalism charges against one of his neighbors whose house he egged at the beginning of the year.

Bieber could still go to jail if found guilty of violating parole

But don't count Justin out of the picture just yet. Proving that he simply can't stay away from trouble, Justin got into another incident just last week in his native Canada while on vacation. The crooner was arrested for dangerous driving and assault after an incident with the paparazzi and an ATV.

At the moment, this is his only pending case, but it's also the one with the potential to land him in jail. As previously mentioned, the singer is currently on probation and this Canadian incident is a clear violation of the conditions of his probation.

And, as other celebrities have found out, such as Chris Brown, violating probation will land you in jail as judges don't like to mess about. The only issue now is having the American police forces collaborate with Canadian ones and try to figure if this incident can be considered a violation.

The American police have 30 days to make an official inquest and then present the case to a judge. Ultimately, it's going to be up to that judge to determine if Justin will see the inside of a jail cell.
