TMZ reports that the two have been scouting LA for the perfect condo to buy the singer and they have already set their eyes on one valued at $1.7 million.
Nevertheless, the quest is not over, because they plan to keep looking and buy something else if a better offer comes their way.
They still have some time left: Justin’s birthday is not until March 1, as any respectable Belieber must already know by now.
“Justin Bieber is going to get an awesome birthday present from his mom – a fancy schmancy LA home, TMZ has learned,” the e-zine reports.
“Sources connected with Justin tell TMZ Justin’s mom and grandmother have been looking for a condo or home in the LA area, which they want to close before Justin’s 17th birthday on March 1,” TMZ says.
“We’re told the top contender so far – a $1.7 million condo near the Westwood area of LA. Justin’s grandma thinks the condo is perfect, but they’re still looking,” the same media outlet says.
The apartment, which belongs to a model, has 2,400 square feet and comes with 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, TMZ also reports.
Photos of the condo confirm that, indeed, the condo would make for a wonderful birthday present for the world’s most successful young pop artist of the moment.
It is fully renovated and lavishly decorated, with rooms in which a combination of chocolate hardwood and white marble floors give it a vintage yet modern feel.
The price of the condo also includes two parking spots in the underground garage, just perfect for Justin’s $200,000 Ferrari and $220,000 Lamborghini Gallardo.
