Justin Bieber is still very young and, yes, he did get snubbed at the Grammys this year, but interest in him has never been this great. In fact, because fans simply can’t get enough of him, ABC is reviving an older project for a sitcom based on his life.
Bieber himself and manager Scooter Braun are in talks with the network to executive produce the untitled project, TV Guide reports.
“The single-camera comedy was first set up at the network last year, but it's been revived and is still under consideration for next season. […] Also on board are executive producers Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi, who are writing the script,” the e-zine says.
The show would focus on Justin’s life before he attained international fame thanks to Usher and YouTube, with emphasis on the “awkward teenage years and his unorthodox family.”
A release date is yet to be announced but, when it airs, count on it becoming an instant hit.
