This could very well be the reason why Justin Bieber keeps acting up and wants to be controversial. According to one of his former flames, Milyn Jensen, Justin is looking to change his wholesome boy image with one that is more commonly associated with rappers.

His former girlfriend says he “loves weed” and “always has a buzz on.” While weed was never scientifically proven to augment your rapping skills, it is featured on almost every rap song ever made, so it's easy to understand Justin's fascination with it.

Jensen continues her revealings, “He's surrounded himself with the wrong people. He didn't want to be the cheesy popstar anymore and has gone way too far the other way.”

According to her, Bieber's role models became famous people from the rap industry such as Lil Wayne, “He really looked up to rappers like Lil Wayne. He decided they were cool and who he wanted to be like.”

She concludes that this is the main reason he's acting so wild these days and getting into all sorts of trouble, “And it's guys like that who do the stuff that Justin now gets in trouble for.”

Jensen was for a brief time involved with Justin last year, while he was still dating Selena Gomez, but she was nonetheless able to get closer to him than the media has done, which is why her words might hold some truth to them.

Another reason why Justin keeps getting into trouble, Jensen thinks, is his entourage. Lil Za and Lil Twist are said to be a very bad influence on him by taking advantage of his desperate wish to escape the pop star image.

Sadly, Justin is not the first child star to shed their innocent image in the wrong way. He is merely joining in the ranks of former Disney princesses or child actors who radically turned from squeaky-clean to drug and alcohol abuse and trouble with police.

Let's hope it just turns better for the 19-year-old. His mother urged fans last week to pray for her son, while he smiled from his mugshot and acted all cocky during his hearing in court, spurring outrage with his “spoiled brat” attitude.

Milyn Jensen also thinks he's going about it the wrong way and he's just a sweet boy led on wrong paths by all the media attention. “It's worrying. I hope he turns it around,” she told The Sun.
