Miley Cyrus and Russell Brand are hot on his heels, Kim Kardashian also makes the cut

Justin Bieber is, without a doubt, one of the most successful pop stars of the moment, regardless of the age group you consider. He is also one of the most annoying celebrities to have ever walked the face of the planet – and the Brits have just made it official by crowning him King of All Annoying Stars.

Well, the title isn’t worded like that, but you get the idea. About 1,000 people took part in a poll meant to determine which were the celebrities they found most tiresome and flat-out infuriating this year, as well as the most annoying trends.

Bieber, with his antics, love of showing off on social media, and newly discovered aversion to shirts and regular pants, has landed on the first position, the Daily Mail reports.

The fact that he’s made a habit out of showing up late for his own concerts and has caused mayhem all over the world where he performed probably also contributed to his winning streak.

Miley Cyrus comes on a close second, and it’s not hard to understand why. Just like The Biebs, Miley too is growing up and she’s itching to show it and, like it’s happened before with other stars, that means a lot of questionable fashion, the need to suddenly show parts of your anatomy that you kept covered until now, and doing outrageous things in public just to get people talking about you.

Whether you hate or love her, Miley is everywhere these days: her music is selling like hot cakes, she’s invited to all the major events, and she’s even considered the new feminist model by some. So much exposure has definitely made her annoying.

Comedian Russell Brand lands in at number 3, with local star Helen Flanagan next. Kim Kardashian, Lady Gaga, Piers Morgan, Katie Hopkins, Harry Styles, and Luis Suarez round up the top 10.

As for the trends that most bugged Brits and got the blood boiling in their veins, the Mail lists as follows: Energy price rises, Twerking (thank Miley Cyrus for that too!), Simon Cowell “becoming a dad,” Arguments over the “Bedroom Tax,” Twitter selfies, The rise of the onesie, Fuss over the Royal baby, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s baby, Gareth Bale’s record transfer, and Shane Warne and Liz Hurley’s romance.
