Justin Bieber’s transition from teen idol to adult pop star has been riddled with obstacles and controversy, to the point where many celebrity pundits and even major media outlets now brand him one of the most entitled, annoying, and rude young men in showbiz. His latest stunt at Disneyland isn’t about to win him any new favors with these people.

Sometime late last week, presumably on Friday (though certain reports claim it happened on Sunday), Justin went to Disneyland in Anaheim to enjoy some of the rides. This visit would have probably gone unnoticed if photos snapped by fans didn’t emerge online.

They have now gone viral and the entire world is rushing to call him the biggest jerk to have walked on the face of the planet and that’s because he seems to have rolled in in a wheelchair, just so he could cut in line and get special treatment.

Embedded at the end of the article is a video that emerged on social media, shot by one of Justin’s many female Beliebers. You can hear the girl telling Justin that she’s thankful to him for being her inspiration, as he’s being rolled away inside by a bodyguard.

The girl is in line, but Justin just rolls past her and into Disneyland, hence all the hubbub that he got preferential treatment because he feigned an injury.

Twitter is filled with photographic evidence that Justin sat in the wheelchair for the entire duration of the visit, with one Belieber even amused that Justin would “pretend to be a normal person on a wheelchair.” She’s actually referring to the fact that Justin didn’t act like the superstar that he is.

Others believe that he was simply too “lazy” to walk so he had his people roll him in because that implied the least effort on his part. Even some of his fans believe this to be the case – and they too find it amusing. If Justin was suffering from anything that would require he sit in a wheelchair, it was mysteriously gone by the next day, when he clearly had no problem standing up, like in this photo, which also emerged on Twitter. Bieber’s camp reached out to TMZ to set the record straight: before you too jump of the bandwagon with those saying what a jerk he is, hear them out.

“We're told Bieber was nursing a knee injury from basketball and only sat in the wheelchair to rest for a few moments. [Moreover] we're told Justin wouldn't need the wheelchair to cut lines, because Disney already escorts him in and out of rides to avoid huge crowds gathering when he's in the park,” TMZ writes.

So, according to his own people, Justin had an “injury” that was gone by the next day. He also sat down “for a few moments,” but he was photographed in that wheelchair throughout his visit to Disneyland.

It looks like someone from Bieber’s camp needs to get their story straight because evidence suggests something else happened. And you wonder why people are calling him a jerk right now.
