14 DAY TRIAL // The couples that sing together stay together? Not necessarily, since musical history has offered plenty of examples that love in the bedroom does not always equal love on stage. But for the moment, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber, the quintessential couple of the pop industry, seem to be enjoying a prosperous time both in their relationship and in their careers.
On the same day that Justin Bieber officially confirmed that he and Selena Gomez were a couple (this was during a deposition), the singer also teased his fans with a mysterious tweet on his profile. The tweet read, “Starting rehearsal for something big.”

Fans immediately jumped to the conclusion that the 20-year-old Bieber was finally going to make a collaboration song with 22-year-old Selena Gomez, his current girlfriend.
Truth be told, the timing couldn't be better, since fans seem to be excited about their reunion, which makes for good publicity, and both of their musical careers have stagnated this year. Justin has been in the recording studio at times but he's failed to release any new material, and Selena hasn't been seen singing since she cut short her Asian and Australian tour earlier this year due to “personal reasons.”

Further evidence to support this collaboration theory is the fact that, back in April when they split for the “gazzillionth” time, the couple were working on a duet that was obviously cut short by the breakup.
Insiders reported that the song was going to be called “Unfamiliar” and that it was going to be a huge comeback song. The project was left dead in the water, just like so many other collaborations Justin tried to make happen but fell apart (the one with Ariana Grande is the first that springs to mind).
Justin has been with Selena for a while now, since the couple recently took a holiday in his native Canada, which also included a nasty incident where he got into a traffic accident with some paparazzi and now the police are looking into the matter.
There were also some awkward moments last week, when Justin decided to strip down to his undies at the Fashion Rocks fund raiser concert in New York, basically doing free advertising for Calvin Klein. The fans at home shrieked with pleasure, especially the ladies, but the live audience wasn't so impressed since they started booing.
