Justin Bieber Talks Selena Gomez Split

If you’re wondering whether it’s true that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have split after roughly 2 years of dating, you’re not going to get an answer from the pop star himself: not even he knows whether they’re still together or not.

E! News caught up with The Biebs shortly after word got out in various media outlets (some more reliable than others) that he and Selena had called it quits, and directly asked him to comment on it.

Justin, being the pop star he is, would not commit to an answer just like that, but he did admit he was at a stage in his life he didn’t know which direction to turn.

“I don’t know what to say. I don’t know what’s going on in my life,” Justin said.

“To even assess that it doesn’t make sense ‘cause I have not made any comment,” the pop star added.

He also laughed at the suggestion that he could sing about the split like Taylor Swift is known to do.

Over the weekend, rumors picked up that Selena and Justin were history, mostly because things no longer worked out between them because of their different, very hectic schedules.

However, the other day, word got out that it was Selena who actually dumped Justin because of some unspecified “trust issues,” which left the door open for speculation on his faithfulness, or lack thereof.

“She broke up with him about a week ago. With them being apart so much it got complicated. She had some trust issues. It’s not easy, but the relationship needed to end,” one insider was quoted as saying.

Other tipsters said basically the same thing, but added that, with these two, a breakup was never a definite thing but more of a break. Being young and in love almost always means ups and downs in a romance like that, they added.
