Although he's only 19 years old, famed pop superstar Justin Bieber is looking to leave the spotlight, much to the despair of probably tens of millions of girl fans from around the world.

In a recent interview with radio station Power 106 in Los Angeles, Justin said “After the new album, I'm actually retiring man. I'm retiring.” Before you break down in tears or jump for joy (depending on where you stand on Justin's music), it's only fair to warn you that these words should be taken with a grain of salt.

Considering the huge success “His Bieberness” is currently enjoying, it's hard to believe that he's going to be just hanging up his microphone and go on into blissful anonymity. He went on to explain in the radio interview “I want to grow as an artist and I'm taking a step out, I want my music to mature.”

The “Heartbreaker” singer hinted that the reason behind his retirement might also be the increasing amount of criticism he's been getting lately, “People think I'm arrogant, I'm not, I've always been a caring and giving person. I'm 19 I'm gonna make mistakes it's inevitable.”
