Pop star tries to prove he’s grown up once more, miserably fails

Justin Bieber is still trying to get the rest of the world, besides his Beliebers, to finally accept that he’s grown up now and, by some twist of logic, also a more versatile artist. So, in Detroit the other night, he covered one of Eminem’s most famous tracks.

I will not hide that I am an Eminem fan and the farthest from a Belieber, and the very idea that the latter could cover the former screams “trying too hard” to me.

However, even if I weren’t, I’d still say that The Biebs needs to rehearse this more in front of a mirror if he really wants the world to take him seriously.

Imitating Eminem is never a good idea unless you really have the kind of rapping skills he has. Trying to get people to compare you with Em by imitating him is not that smart either, especially since you’ve already been compared to Vanilla Ice.

Justin needs to pull his pants up and stick to what he’s good at until he is ready to move on from it.
