Our modern society has generally accepted the concept according to which a confession and an apology for a transgression earns you instant forgiveness for whatever wrongdoing the person in question might have. But if you keep on doing the same thing over and over again, like Justin Bieber does, that might no longer work.

Justin Bieber, as you might well know, has moved on from outrageous behavior to outrageous statements, which, for their most part, take on the racial path. Granted, the statements in question were made when Justin was much younger, 15 in this case, but that doesn't mean that he's off the hook.

After two separate racist videos were leaked in as many days, the singer is now running out of ways of apologizing for his inconsiderate behavior. That's why, the Canadian singer has now taken up quoting from the Bible as a means of asking people for their forgiveness.

The Bible verse presented in a photo on his Instagram account speaks about “confessing your wrongdoing.” The singer has already apologized for the first racist video which came out earlier this week and was later discovered to be part of a blackmail ploy from a person who stole and video and demanded one million dollars for not making it public. As you can see, the deal did not go through.

Now that he's already made out an official apology for the first video which saw him telling a racial joke, he's appealing to everyone's Christian spirit of forgiveness to apologize for the second video in which he sings about killing African Americans and joining the KKK.

“When your sins weigh heavily upon you, come to Me,” the verse goes on, and is followed by another “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin – John 1:7.”

That's a far cry from the bratty boy who made fun of and drove a lawyer crazy in a deposition video, who used to spit on fans from hotel balconies, who peed in a mop bucket in a restaurant, who egged his neighbor's home and who got caught driving under the influence in Miami. And that was all just in the last couple of months.

It's really up to you if you want to be good Christians and turn the other cheek, but we're going to need a lot more proof from Justin that he's ready to change his ways than just some carefully chosen quotes from the Bible.
