14 DAY TRIAL // Weird things are afoot in the troubled world of former-teen pop stars. Everyone seems to be getting worried about Justin Bieber who has been acting erratically for months and Selena Gomez who has been acting erratically for weeks now.
After being detained by American authorities at the airport last week, today Justin Bieber is making headlines with a cryptic marriage proposal that's presumably directed at the love of his life, Selena Gomez.
The Canadian crooner has posted a photo of himself on Instagram sitting in New York's Central Park and captioned the photo with “Was gonna wait to go to Central Park for when I proposed to my future wife but [expletive] sometimes things change. I'll think of something more romantic.”
It turns out that Justin had always planned to propose in Central Park because, for some reason, he thought that it was a romantic place, but a new development in his life has caused him to change his mind. It could have something to do with the fact that recently Selena Gomez has decided to remove all “toxic” influences in her life and started going to church again in an effort to stay clean.
Justin's tone seems to be very sad and the photo also has a sad-looking Bieber flashing some weird hand gesture and an ever weirder ensemble of clothes. The less-than-fashionable singer is wearing what looks like a tea towel around his waist, as well as his signature low-drooping pants and a short-sleeved hoodie.
Meanwhile, as Justin moans about his future wife and how he plans to seduce her and find a romantic place to propose, marriage seems to be the last thing on Selena's mind. Her recent efforts to distance herself from all the “toxic” people in her life has raised some eyebrows.
Selena is unfollowing people left and right these days and she's also started going back to church, seemingly in an effort to get her life back on track and avoid going to rehab. It remains to be seen if replacing Justin and the Jenner sisters with Jesus is going to be beneficial for her.
On her social media, she recently posted some cryptic messages of her own, some song lyrics that read “I got every material thing I could ever need/ I got the love from my fans that adore me/ And I'm ungrateful / But my love for myself is lacking a little bit / I have to admit that I'm working on me.”
At the moment, it looks like Selena is really searching for some “me” time while Justin appears to be in a hurry to tie the knot with her. Forcing a woman into marriage has never been a good idea so let's hope Justin's fever is going to be cooled by Selena's newfound faith.
