In a recent picture posted on his Instragram account, Justin Bieber seems to finally kill off all the rumors that he was retiring from singing. Incidentally, he was the one who started them, even if "rumors" might be an inappropriate word in this case since he came outright and said he was “officially retiring.”

Now, after his latest docu-movie “Believe” flopped at the box office, Bieber is getting ready to come out with new material. At least this is what should be interpreted from the photo taken in the studio.

Sitting next to the teen singer is rapper-producer Kid Cudi. It looks like the two are going to be working on Justin's new album together, though it's not known if Cudi is producing it or just featuring on some of the tracks.

Justin tweeted back in December, just before “Believe” was set to hit theaters, “My beloved beliebers, I'm officially retiring.” Later, he added in a follow-up, “The media talks a lot about me. They make up a lot of lies and want me to fail but I'm never leaving you, being a belieber is a lifestyle.”

His management has denied the retirement rumors from the start, claiming that the singer's tweets were a way of mocking the media and its ability to turn even the slightest rumor into a scandal. “Justin felt that this was the best way to respond to the latest in a long line of inaccurate or wildly exaggerated media reports about him.”

Days before Justin posted the picture of himself and Kid Cudi in the studio, the singer was spotted in Toronto with producer Douglas Romanow near the Noble Street Studios.

At the time, the producer tweeted “Justin's Bieber's retirement rumors are greatly exaggerated > I've been recording him in Toronto.”
