The singer sees charges dropped in return for plea and anger management classes

Justin Bieber is out to disprove the old adage that says Friday the 13th is an unlucky day. The Canadian singer has just copped a plea that has seen the charges in his Miami DUI case swept under the rub. His legal team has worked out the details, and now the 20-year-old won't have to go to court to be held accountable for his actions.

Us Weekly reports that the charges against Bieber, who was arrested in Miami at the beginning of the year, are going to be dropped. In exchange, he will have to undergo an anger management course, since the officers who booked him accused him of resisting arrest, and reports show that he also used foul language when addressing them, as well as ignoring their instructions.

The best part of this deal is that Justin won't be put on probation, which would have at least curbed his enthusiasm for parties. A man needs to be extra careful with how wild his partying gets when he is already on probation, but the legal system has determined that Bieber is not a threat.

That also means that he won't have to undergo random drug testing, something the prosecution proposed to the judge, but which his lawyers dismissed right from the start as unacceptable. An insider reveals that the pop singer is more than happy with the current turn of events.

“It's a really good deal and he's happy with it,” the source says. “He thinks it's fair. He just wants to put the whole bad episode behind him and move on.”

From the looks of things, Justin is swinging all these accusations against him out of the park. Also yesterday he found out that the L.A, County District Attorney decided not to pursue “felony prosecution” for the case in which he was accused of stealing a woman's phone back in May.

There was an official robbery complaint filed with police, and the legal system set its wheels in motion, but, happily for Justin, the case has been bumped to a city judge, who will treat it as a misdemeanor charge.

Overall, things are going very well for the young pop star and teen sensation. This week it was speculated that he had rekindled his romance with fellow pop singer Selena Gomez, after a photo of the two of them made its way on social media briefly before getting taken down.

If it turns out to be true, this marks the second time Justin and Selena have patched things up between them, after their first patch-up in February this year. That only lasted until April, when rumors that Justin was getting involved with one of the Jenner girls broke up his romance with Selena Gomez yet again.
