Regardless of how much criticism he gets for his music or his reported diva attitude, there can be no denying how close Justin Bieber is to his fans. One girl from Salt Lake City suffering from leukemia got to experience that first-hand.

Millie Flamm bought tickets to see The Biebs in concert over the weekend, but her condition deteriorated and prevented her from being there, Inquistr reports.

Luckily for her, the Beliebers, Justin’s legions of fans, were paying attention – and took action to see her biggest dream come true.

A campaign was started on social media, with the aim of making Justin aware of this little fan whose biggest dream was to meet him in person.

It was a success, says the aforementioned media outlet. Justin himself visited Millie in hospital before his show in Salt Lake City over the weekend.

“All of a sudden it pulled through and we were able to do a really intimate little meeting with just her and us and Justin and it was incredible and he was so sweet to her,” Millie's mother says.

“He walked in and her whole face just lit up, and she turned around and hugged her dad, and then he ran over and came next to her and gave her a big hug,” she adds.

Useless to say, the meeting gave Millie new hope and strength to fight.

“I have no words. There is no way to say thank you to everybody who helped make this happen. I have no words but thank you, and that’s not enough,” Mrs. Flamm explains.

“It just has re-energized all of us. We are ready to keep going and fight harder with all this backing and this fun thing that has happened today, and keep going and keep fighting,” she adds.

All of Justin’s fans have been tweeting up a storm over the weekend on his amazing gesture. The pop star, in his turn, posted a photo of himself with a smiling Millie, with the caption, “Look at this bundle of joy. I love her.”
