It looks like Justin Bieber hatched his plans just right when he allegedly went off on a neighbor's house by pelting it with eggs that caused several tens of thousands of dollars in damage. Why is that? Well, because the police can find no evidence that it was really Justin who went egg-chucking in the middle of the night.

Police officers investigating the case, raided the singer's home some time ago and confiscated recordings from his mansion's security system and even his personal phone in search of proof connecting him with the all-out egg assault.

Now, TMZ confirms that there was no evidence to be found. The police was hoping to find either video footage showing Bieber entering or exiting his premises at the time of the attack or even a “brag text” on his personal phone.

The only witnesses in the case are the assaulted neighbor and his 13-year-old daughter who filmed the entire attack. But since it was dark, only the voice of the attacker could be heard. Although it bears a striking resemblance to that of the pop singer, no definitive identification can be made from the recording.

After the sheriff's department failed to turn in any solid evidence, it now falls on the LA County District Attorney to see if Justin Bieber gets charged with felony vandalism or misdemeanor vandalism. Another possibility is that he gets off the hook scot-free.

Not that Justin doesn't have any problems of his own right now. At the moment, he's in Panama, where a couple of his friends and relatives have allegedly staged an intervention for him, including his mentor Usher, the man who first discovered the teen sensation a couple of years ago.

And if that wasn't enough, he still has to appear before a judge on his recent DUI and drag racing charge which might get him into a jail cell, if the judge sees fit. The police have expressed their intent to treat Bieber like any other person and not afford him preferential treatment in this case.
