On April 1, Justin Bieber pulled off what was deemed one of the best celebrity pranks of recent years: he bragged about buying the immensely popular channel Funny Or Die, renaming it Bieber Or Die and proclaiming that there could be no other way than the Bieber way. The latest issue of People magazine brings a look into a day of the life of the pop sensation, in what will surely make fans go positively ecstatic.

The 16-year-old heartthrob rose to fame thanks to YouTube, where he used to post his videos, as fans must already know. Since then, life has been one crazy rollercoaster ride for Justin, though he’s not complaining about it – and who would, come to think. Either way, no matter how many screaming fans are waiting for him outside whenever he steps out, The Bieb (as he’s sometimes referred to in the blogosphere) still sees himself as a regular guy, albeit one with now-serious dating issues.

“It’s been quite a few weeks for Justin Bieber: While most kids his age relaxed on spring break, the 16-year-old chatted with Jay Leno and David Letterman, visited American Idol, rocked the White House Easter Egg Roll and – oh yeah – landed at No. 1 with his album My World 2.0. ‘What I have is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,’ Bieber tells the upcoming issue of People, on newsstands Friday. ‘And I’m having a blast’,” People writes by means of a preview of what the upcoming issue of the mag will bring Bieber fans all over the world.

“The singer opens up about his rise from YouTube sensation to pop star and admits that having such a busy schedule hasn’t been good for his dating life: ‘Right now, it’s difficult ‘cause I’m traveling so much,’ says the single singer. Even with Bieber Fever spreading across the globe (‘It’s like Beatlemania,’ says the singer’s road manager and stylist Ryan Good. ‘Mass hysteria. Loud screaming, crying, passing out. It’s amazing.’), the pop star remains grounded,” the mag further writes.

As far as Justin Bieber is concerned, he’s “just Justin,” regardless of thousands of screaming girls waiting to catch just a glance of him. He might be “just Justin” to himself, but, to the world, he’s the biggest thing to happen to showbiz since The Beatles, it is being said. As also noted above, the Bieber issue of People is out this Friday: make sure you pick it up or keep an eye on this space for more on the teen star.
