The latest issue of GQ Magazine brings a new interview with teen superstar Justin Bieber, a piece that is a must-read for both fans and non-fans, but especially the latter.

Usually, reporters try to butter up to Justin precisely because he's so hard to reach. This one skips all that and drives straight to the point: no matter how hard Bieber's people are trying to convince us he's a “man” now, he's still pretty much a boy.

He's a talented and confident one, while we're at it.

In between exchanging a few words with the reporter, The Biebs reaveals that he's “never made a bad song,” while his manager offers assurances that he's the only one calling all the shots in the studio.

The Justin Bieber “brand” is a ship that sails because Justin Bieber wills it so; in this sense, he's no manufactured pop star, even if he might be described as such in the press every once in a while.

Here is the full interview. Above is a shot from the spread that accompanies it.
