Justin Bieber Forgets Lyrics to ‘Santa Claus Is Coming to Town’

It can – and does – happen to the best of them: during a performance on The Today Show, Justin Bieber forgot the lyrics to one of the songs included on his first-ever Christmas album, the ever popular “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town.”

However, for someone not familiar with the festive jingle, the mishap will certainly not seem like a big deal, since Justin managed to save face in the most gracious and professional manner.

As the video below will show, well into the song, The Biebs blanked out. He recovered almost immediately, repeating the line “He’s making a list” and “You better watch out.”

He also let the singing to the backing singers until he overcame the awkward moment and, instead, he strolled through the audience, shaking hands with his fans – a gesture that they definitely appreciated more than his remembering all the words.

Above is his performance on The Today. At the end of it, he was joined on stage by mentor Usher, who gushed about how Justin had “the best fanbase in the world.”
