A few days ago, singer Justin Bieber found himself parted with his beloved pet monkey, Mally. News on the topic says that, because Justin failed to file the paperwork that would have allowed him to get Mally back, the monkey is to become German property this May 17.

Ecorazzi informs us that the German officials in charge of sorting out this issue have thus far declined to share any information having to do with where the monkey will be sent.

Thus, all that is known is that a zoo is ready and willing to welcome Mally and see to it that the monkey gets to spend the rest of its life with others of its kind.

Employees of the animal shelter where Justin Bieber's pet is currently kept say that, all things considered, Mally will probably have a much more enjoyable life at the zoo.

“From an animal rights perspective, it would have been better to do that before, as he is being kept well here but not with members of his own species,” spokesperson Judith Brettmeister reportedly said.
