Justin Bieber is so famous and popular that even his hair is famous. It's no wonder, then, that everything he does to change “The Bieber,” as his 'do is normally referred to, makes headlines.

After creating a hairstyle as famous as “the Rachel” from “Friends,” the pop star is still setting trends. Just recently, he stepped out with hair dyed in a darker color than he's ever sported.

The Beliebers (Justin Bieber fans) know that, in recent years in particular, he's been trying to change his appearance in order to move towards a more mature look, while not alienating fans who have helped him become the star he is today.

Only days after bringing the fringe back, Justin was photographed with much darker hair, which could only mean he'd dyed it to achieve the aforementioned, desired effect.

Photos are available here, at the Daily Mail.

“Just a few days after wowing fans by bringing back his famous 'do, Justin Bieber has hit the bottle to get darker locks,” the British publication writes.

“The 17-year-old singer debuted his new look as he was seen leaving a friend's house with girlfriend Selena Gomez after watching the Green Bay Packers NFL game in Sherman Oaks, California,” adds the mail.

“Bieber's hair looked significantly darker next to his bright yellow T-shirt, which he teamed with baggy jeans and a pair of blue trainers,” the tab notes.

If you happen to be at a loss as to why this is news, know that, almost one year ago, Justin cut his hair for the first time, saying he wanted a more “mature” look, sending fans into a frenzy of desperation and heartbreak.

“The Bieber” hair was so ridiculously famous that about 80,000 Twitter fans told the singer they would no longer be following him on the social networking website because of what he'd done to change his look.

And then clicked the “unfollow” button.

On the bright side, locks of hair that were cut on that particular occasion went on auction and fetched no less than $40,000 (€31,264.6) for charity.

Later on, they (the strands of hair) went on a tour of the US, on which they actually had their own bodyguard.
