“It’s the most beautiful time of the year” indeed. Fans of Justin Bieber, the Beliebers, have a wonderful surprise in store and it’s not even Christmas yet: the teen heartthrob just debuted the brand new video for “Mistletoe.”
Officially the first single off his Christmas album, “Under the Mistletoe,” the first he’s ever made, the song deals with the same story of young love and, since it’s that special winter holiday, wanting to spend it with that special girl.
We’ve all seen
the behind the scenes footage, but now’s the time for the real thing: the video presents the beautiful relationship between Justin and his love interest, played by a girl who looks a lot like Selena Gomez, his real-life girlfriend.
There’s smooching under the mistletoe, there’s a lovely Christmas present and, for a plus of drama, also a traditional third wheel, a blonde who can’t seem to keep her hands off Justin.
Not that fans can blame her.
The video is a perfect companion for the song, albeit definitely not a surprising one. Still, it’s just the thing to get us all (and especially the fans) into the right holiday spirit.
