The singer took to the sidewalk when traffic on the road became too congested

Just when you thought that Justin Bieber was cleaning up his act, he goes and pulls a douchebag move like this: the singer was riding his three-wheeled motorcycle, a Can-Am Spyder, in Beverly Hills and when the traffic got a little too congested for his taste, he simply left the road and went on the sidewalk.

Paparazzi were there to capture the entire incident on video and even they couldn't believe Bieber's nerve to drive on the sidewalk like it was his own property. Just to be clear on this, riding your vehicle on the sidewalk is illegal.

To top things off, Justin also almost hit someone when he tried to swerve back onto the road at an intersection, where some pedestrians were crossing the road. The pop singer had to brake firmly and the only reason he didn't hit anyone was because he wasn't traveling very fast.

In the video captured by TMZ, you can see he almost hits an old lady in a walker, narrowly avoiding her at the last second.

Seconds later, Justin joins back in traffic and he can be seen sitting care-free in his vehicle, listening to music while waiting for the lights to turn green. As you can see, Justin doesn't think that traffic regulations apply to him in any way, shape or form.

A spokesperson for the Beverly Hills Police Department is quoted as saying that “We highly encourage Mr. Bieber to stay off the sidewalk and remain in traffic. This is incredibly unsafe. He's putting other people's safety in jeopardy.” The spokesperson added that Justin was indeed breaking the law by riding on the sidewalk, as this is a “vehicle code violation, which is an infraction.”

You'd think that Justin would have better sense in traffic after his DUI arrest in Miami in February, which he narrowly dodged earlier this month, by paying a hefty fine, and agreeing to undergo anger management classes.

He was lucky that no cops were around at the time he decided to go joyriding on the sidewalk, but police could still nail him based on the video evidence provided by the paparazzi. Keep in mind that Justin Bieber is still on probation for the egg-chucking incident and any breaking of the law could be seen as a violation of that probation.

Are we still buying the goody-two-shoes images he was trying to pass off in these last few weeks, by attending church and reportedly “cleaning up?” No, not anymore.
