14 DAY TRIAL // It's not a mystery that Justin Bieber likes to act out as often as possible and that he usually goes for the dangerous/reckless stuff. He has often done crazy, immature things that have landed him in trouble and sometimes even jail, so we should not be surprised that over the weekend he posted a video of himself riding a skateboard while clinging to the outside of a moving van.
He took the video and put it on his Instagram, where all his millions of fans could see and perhaps praise him for his courage. While the van didn't seem to be moving very fast and Justin was held tight by another pair of hands from the vehicle, it's still a dangerous stunt to pull.
Even more dangerous is the fact that many of his fans, most of them still in their teens, saw this as an invitation to do the same. Many commented on the video, saying that they planned to remake the stunt, while others took it as a dare.
Justin can be seen smiling in the video, while talking to someone else in the vehicle who is off-camera. He boastfully asks “You wouldn't do this?” making it seem like it's not that big of a deal for him. The same message is conveyed by the caption of the video, which reads: “Ridin down fairfax lol had a great time (sic).”
Apart from being branded as irresponsible, his stunt also has the potential to influence his large fan base into similar actions and that's the most disturbing part, the fact that the Canadian singer doesn't act more in accordance with his age and also refuses to see the true effect of his actions.
Whenever confronted as to why he acts so immaturely, Justin invariably answers that he's “just trying to have some fun,” but many fail to see him as the once-carefree boy that used to be cute and wholesome.
Of course, all of this macho behavior could very well be just a cry for attention to Selena Gomez, as it was reported that she once again decided to sever all ties with him and get on with her life. Also, it looks like his latest conquest, a Spanish model, is just a trophy girl, someone he's using to get Selena's attention.
An insider reports that Justin is still very much in love with Selena: “Selena treated him like a regular person but all of these other girls treat him like a God and let him do whatever. I think they make Justin feel like he's in control and calling the shots.”
