14 DAY TRIAL // The first time Justin Bieber laid eyes on the hotness that is Australian beauty Miranda Kerr was during the famed Victoria's Secret fashion show that took place in New York City in 2012. Justin was the performer for that night and he seemed to be smitten with Miranda's good looks.
The problem was that, at the time, she was happily married (at least we assume that she was happy) with Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom, known for his roles in “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy and “Pirates of the Caribbean.”
At the time, an insider described Justin as “very persistent” in his flirting with Miranda, despite the fact that he was almost half her age. Back in 2012, Justin was 18 and Miranda was 29, making it for a somewhat inappropriate fling even if she hadn't been married.
An eyewitness at the 2012 fashion show told E! News that “Bieber and Kerr were acting flirty throughout the course of the evening.” The fact that the model was married did not seem to matter at all for the young and impetuous Bieber.
Because of his recklessness, Justin even tried to get in touch with Miranda after the show. “Since their already infamous hang out, Bieber has tried to reach out to Kerr several times, but she didn't entertain his attempts at maintaining steady contact—they texted a bit here and there. He was very persistent,” claims the source.
That would explain why Orlando would take a swing at Bieber the first time he laid eyes on him in Ibiza during a restaurant night out. In case you don't know what happened, the short version is that Justin and Orlando crossed paths, and Justin may or may not have said something inappropriate about Miranda to Bloom, who didn't think twice about socking him in the jaw.
Orlando's punch missed, but Justin's harsh words didn't, and although he unceremoniously fled the scene after being swung at in the applause of the public there, Justin took to his social media accounts to bash Bloom and mock him with a series of photos of both him and Miranda.
For her part, the supermodel is trying now desperately to distance herself from this scandal which can't be good for her image. At the moment, she's in Spain, vacationing with her family, trying to relax. She is said to be in constant contact with Orlando because of their son Flynn, but they haven't discussed the whole Justin Bieber incident.
