14 DAY TRIAL // Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have broken up again and, this time, it might be for good, insiders say. Though they spent Christmas together, the two got into a massive fight right before New Year’s Eve.
They called it quits shortly afterwards, PageSix writes.
“Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez – known to fans as ‘Jelena’ – have reportedly split for the umpteenth time after ringing out the last days of 2012 with an explosive argument,” the publication writes.
“The couple had planned to spend New Year's Eve in Mexico, but Gomez skipped town after their bitter fight on December 30, according to reports. Bieber left for Los Angeles the next day,” the e-zine notes.
TMZ has photos of Justin partying it up with pals in a hotel room in Newport Beach, apparently smoking pot. The celebrity publication also notes that Justin spent the night with one girl who was definitely not Selena.
In other words, even if it might displease fans, it certainly looks like these two are off, at least for the time being.
Selena’s Twitter feed indicates that she might have been the one to break it off with Justin, PageSix stresses.
“New beginnings. Fresh start. I love you all : )” she tweeted before ringing in the New Year.
Justin and Selena also broke up late last year, amidst reports that he cheated on her while attending the annual Victoria’s Secret show, with one of the Angels there.
Selena was out of the country at the moment but she reportedly blew a fuse when she heard about it in the press.
In November, though, they were back together, with the tabs saying that she had agreed to take him back on the condition that he acted more maturely in the relationship and “clean[ed] up his act.”
Calls to Justin and Selena’s reps had not been returned at the time of writing.
