Just as his Beliebers love him to death, those not in the target group of Justin Bieber’s music would probably rather do anything else than have to sit through one of his performances. Still, they had no choice but to do that.

Justin Bieber was the halftime performer at the Canadian Football League Grey Cup over the weekend, singing “Boyfriend” and “Beauty and a Beat,” two of his latest singles.

GossipCop reports that the booing started the instant Bieber’s face came up on the Jumbotron. Clearly, football fans are not into his music as much as organizers believed.

The booing continued as he performed, the same media outlet notes but, as it happens, it was undistinguishable from the cheering, as the two videos embedded here will also confirm.

Even so, The Biebs did his best to put on an incredible performance despite the boos coming from the public so, if only for that, he deserves credit.
