14 DAY TRIAL // Justin Bieber angered some fans and even more parents by showing up on stage 2 hours later than the appointed time in London over the weekend. In a statement on Twitter, he apologizes for it, but stresses that he wasn’t even that late.
Though the BBC says he got up on stage at 22.30 even though he was announced for 20.30, The Biebs is downplaying the whole thing in his statement.
“last night i was scheduled after 3 opening acts to go on stage at 935 not 830 but because of some technical issues i got on at 10:10,” he writes.
“i was 40 min late to stage. there is no excuse for that and I apologize for anyone we upset. However it was great show and Im proud of that,” Justin adds.
Then again, it’s not his fans he has to convince, because they will love him regardless of what he does: it’s the parents of the fans, the parents who accompanied his fans to the concert and who missed their trains back home because he was late.
