14 DAY TRIAL // What would Jesus do? That should be the title of this report which has Canadian singer Justin Bieber involved in yet another phone jacking incident, mostly because he can't handle his fame. It seems the singer doesn't like it when people take videos of him, so he lashed out at a female fan in a restaurant when she tried to film him on her phone.
The Daily Mail claims that Justin was having dinner with Selena Gomez, since they are presumably back together for the third time this year, at Dave & Buster's in Hollywood on Monday night when an altercation took place.
The report comes directly from a spokesperson from the LAPD since the altercation escalated quickly and the police were called in to calm things down. The spokesperson confirmed that officers arrived on the scene shortly after the call was made at 9:30 pm on Monday evening.
The complaint was that someone from Justin's camp had tried to steal a phone from someone in the restaurant, although “steal” might be too strong a word here, more like “forcibly take.” Nevertheless, this was the word used in the official report, “Somebody thought someone was attempting to steal a cell,” according to the spokesperson.
The circumstances of the event are yet unclear, but the police have confirmed that “there's been no fight, no scuffle and no crime occurred,” thus calming things down. The police report that a fan tried to film Justin at the restaurant. Things got ugly when Justin's bodyguards asked her to see the video and she declined.
It seems that in the end the incident was resolved amicably, but not before someone called in the police. For Justin, this isn't the first time that he is involved in a phone-snatching incident. Earlier this year, Justin was again accused of trying to steal a fan's phone in exactly the same circumstances, except he was at a San Fernando Valley golf course at the time.
It was back in May, and the woman with the phone claimed that Justin tried to steal her phone when she wouldn't show him the recording. She filled a complaint and the case even went out to the police, but it was later dropped in court.
Justin Bieber simply can't stay away from these altercations, despite the fact that he's currently trying to rebuild his image and become “a good boy.” Part of his reunion with Selena has been all about finding Jesus together, as the couple is allegedly trying to get back on the right path.
They go to church together, they try to stay clean and they try not to get involved into scandals. Well, at least one of them is trying, because Justin can't really pull it off. That temper of his has gotten him in trouble before, but he just can't shake it.
