Eidos will soon release a video game in which Superman, Batman, The Flash, Green Lantern and Wonder Woman will all get together.
Until now, only a few games that featured a combination of super heroes have been released. Games like Justice Task Force for the Super Nintendo, or Genesis have been disappointments
for super hero fans. Imagine, in Genesis, Green Arrow could defeat Superman.
Xbox and PlayStation 2 will see Justice League Heroes on October 17, as Snowblind Studios finished developing the game quite some time ago. Snowblind studio is also responsible for Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance and Champions of Norrath.
Eidos, the games' publisher signed a distribution agreement with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The company is set to distribute Justice League Heroes in North America and Europe.
The game will feature 2 types of characters: one category will be playable from the get-go, others you will have to unlock. Batman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, Superman, Zatanna, and Wonder Woman will be available from the start, while other characters like Aquaman, Black Canary, Green Arrow, Hawkgirl, Huntress and Supergirl will have to be unlocked.
Initially, there was another Justice League game in development from Midway Games, but it was canceled in 2004. Moreover,
Warner Bros explained that the Midway game is totally unrelated to the upcoming game.
