Just Cause developer Avalanche Studios is completely focusing on the next generation of devices, as the studio’s founder just posted a photo in which the company’s current-gen dev kits for the PS3 and Xbox 360 are being sent back to Sony and Microsoft, respectively.

Avalanche Studios hasn’t avoided any next-generation rumors and has confirmed that most of the games it currently has in development will arrive only for next platforms, not on the current PS3 or Xbox 360 consoles.

Now, in order to really show off this commitment to new platforms, Avalanche founder Christofer Sundberg has posted a picture on his Twitter, showing boxes with PS3 and Xbox 360 dev kits that are going to be sent back to Sony and Microsoft, respectively.

Sundberg added that, “We're shipping 'em back. Going next-gen.”

As of yet, however, Avalanche hasn’t confirmed what games it’s currently working on, although a Just Cause 3 has been rumored for quite some time.
