First Forensic Forum attacked by hackers

Following the recent hack attacks, it seems that a new security forum was assaulted by the malicious people looking to prove their abilities. The Register today reported that First Forensic Forum, a UK security forum, was hacked by a group of users called S4udi-S3curity-Terror. It seems that the hackers managed to break into the website on Thursday, trying to make fun of the security experts who are registered on the website. "The F3 For Security Hacked. What's Happened In The world. Thay Are No Security Or What," S4udi-S3curity-T3rror wrote according to the same source mentioned above.

In the recent period, more and more security companies were affected by hackers' attacks although some of them didn't manage to hurt the experts. For example, one the top names in the security industry, F-Secure, is one of the giants which managed to face the threats, the hackers aiming to publish a message concerning one of the employees. It appears that the attempt was not successful due to an error in the code of the virus.

Yesterday, the Avast forum, which enables the clients of its security technologies to communicate on several topics, was hacked and infected with a dangerous malware. The hackers inserted a password stealing infected file which could be transferred on visitors' computer once they loaded the page. The entire process was made without any notification displayed to the user. Mozilla Firefox and Opera users were protected from malware but the Internet Explorer 7 consumers could be easily infected. The folks at Avast struggled to repair the problem and the forum went back online quite fast.

Now, have a look at the message posted by the hackers: if the security companies which are supposed to protect the users' computers from attacks turn into vulnerable targets, what can you expect from an inexperienced consumer who access the Internet for the first time?
