14 DAY TRIAL // Universal Pictures has released a new, global trailer for their June release, the highly anticipated “Jurassic Park” reboot, “Jurassic World,” starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. You will find it embedded in full and in HD below.
The film is directed by Colin Trevorrow (“Safety Not Guaranteed”), and retains Steven Spielberg, who helmed the original film, as executive producer. It’s meant to re-launch the “Jurassic” franchise, with a new, younger and hotter lead in Pratt, who is already star of Marvel’s best-selling “Guardians of the Galaxy” franchise.
In this film, scientists have created an entire island populated by genetically modified dinosaurs, where visitors can come and watch them. The more tourists visiting yearly, the higher the pressure to deliver for them more entertaining monsters: so a hybrid named Indominus Rex was created.
But this one is special, as we find out at the start of the trailer. She killed her sibling and ate it, and then broke free and started killing other dinosaurs “for sport.” By the time she develops the ability to communicate with the other dinos, the people on the island have already realized there is no more escape possible for them.
Their only hopes lie in Chris Pratt’s Owen Grady, who works at the park and seems to understand more about the dinos than the scientists who created them do.
The film will be out this June, and as you can see, it promises to be big.
