First look at the Wachowski brothers’ bold new project will leave you gasping for air

One of the most hyped and, at the same time, shrouded in secrecy releases of 2014 is the Wachowski brothers’ new bold project, “Jupiter Ascending.” The first teaser trailer for it has just been released and, as usual, you can check it out in full and in HD above.

It will definitely be worth your time, especially if you’re a sci-fi fan hoping to finally lay your eyes on something truly original: “Jupiter Ascending” isn’t just directed by Andy and Lana Wachowski of the “Matrix” trilogy fame, but also based on a script penned by them. If you’re familiar with their work, you know already what to expect.

“Jupiter Ascending” stars Channing Tatum as a “splice,” a creature he once described as half wolf, half man, Sean Bean (who I’m hoping won’t die in the first half hour of the film) and Mila Kunis, who is a “a cleaning woman who, unbeknownst to her, shares a genetic makeup with the Queen of the Universe.” Tatum is sent to Earth to kill her.

Eddie Redmayne and Douglas Booth also star and, as you can see from the first trailer, you’re to expect lots of action and a universe so expansive that the people of Earth are merely a blot on it.

If you like what you see, keep an eye on this space for more details about the daring project, and look for the film in theaters on July 25, 2014.
