However, that is not the case. This clip has been captured in the town of Stamford, near London in the UK.
According to the Rutland & Stamford Mercury, residents told the publication that they had been interviewed by a news crew about strange glowing lights in the sky.
That actually happened before the clip was posted to YouTube, thus drawing suspicion.
National Geographic experts have also commented to HuffPost about the jumping cow in the clip, saying that the image is consistent with the process of implementing CG effects.
