Jump! Ultimate Stars is an uptake on the previous release, Jump Super Stars. It features a similar Super Smash Bros.-style fighting gameplay with a huge array of licensed manga characters. In total, 300 characters from 41 different mangas are available and will enable players to go wild and have some real fun.
Players will be able to set up a deck made of three types of panels, which are controllable via the touchscreen. There are several game modes that include a story mode, versus modes, several other single-player modes, as well as a quiz, information archives and story synopses for every series. Each character has a certain progression build and winning a battle will award gamers gems to upgrade a character.
Amongst some of the characters included in the title, we can find members from famous Shonen Jump! mangas like Gintama, Shaman King, D.Gray-man, Death Note, The Prince of Tennis, Dragon Ball, Naruto, Hunter x Hunter, Buso Renkin, Black Cat, Bleach, Rurouni Kenshin, One Piece, and many, many others.
The game was published by Nintendo Co., Ltd. and developed by Ganbarion Co., Ltd. It was released on November 23, 2006 and it's a platform side-scroller.

Allen: Collect more stars than your opponent before the time runs out in the first D. Gray.Man mission.
Don Patch: Do not get hit for at least two minutes in the second Bo-Bobo mission.
Gohan: Complete the stage in less than 30 seconds in the second Dragon Ball Z mission.
