Professional ballroom dancer, actress and country singer Julianne Hough has learned on her own that, sometimes, her dancing can be too much for television: Country Music Television has banned her latest video, for “Is That So Wrong,” it has emerged.

Though CMT is denying all allegations in this sense, it was Julianne herself who hinted at the ban in a recent interview, saying the video was deemed too much for the audiences, PopEater reports.

Apparently, the problem with the video, which you can see below, embedded at the end of the article, is that it shows too much skin, CMT seems to believe.

In all honesty, celebrity bloggers and fans who’ve seen it say, there are plenty other videos out there that are WAY more suggestive than this, and they were never banned from being shown on television.

“This next song – funny story. I shot a music video for it, and Country Music Television banned it. Apparently, I was taking off too many clothes as I was dancing across my bedroom,” Julianne said in a concert in Baltimore last week.

Indeed, the video shows the stunning blonde breaking out into some sizzling dance moves while removing precisely two items of clothing she has on her.

But there’s really nothing that provocative going on in it to explain the ban, it is being said. If anything, the video is more of a confirmation of what an excellent and passionate dancer Julianne is.

Even so, PopEater notes that, while CMT is denying the ban, the video has also mysteriously vanished from all other channels, the only exception being the one below.

“CMT denies any ban has occurred, instead telling CNN that they aren’t playing ‘Is That So Wrong’ because of a hiccup in contract negotiations. It comes down to this: CMT and its parent company MTV are currently in talks with VEVO, which distributes all videos from Hough’s label,” PopEater writes.

“The network is not the only one shying away from the clip, as it is also NOWHERE to be found on YouTube or the video search engine Truveo and has been removed from several other websites,” the e-zine notes.

Because of heavy traffic, the only website still hosting the video is reportedly having a lot of trouble staying online. Check out the video below and judge for yourself whether it’s “too hot” to air on CMT.
