Julianne Hough, actress, dancer, star of Safe Haven and the girlfriend of American Idol host Ryan Seacrest has reportedly lost $100,000 (€77,000) worth of jewelry she has received as a gift.

The jewelry was stolen from her vehicle as she visited a friend in Hollywood, AZ Central reports. The 24-year-old beauty had parked her Mercedes in front of the apartment complex where a friend lived.

After her visit on Friday, March 8, she returned to notice that a door of the car was left wide open. She checked for the valuables and realized they had been stolen, but she may or may not have left her car door unlocked.

After alerting authorities, a preliminary investigation revealed no signs of forced entry, indicating that the perpetrator either had a key, or one of the doors was, indeed, unlocked.

The TV star had gotten three luxurious pieces of jewelry, one of which was a $50,000 (€38,500) watch, as a gift from her boyfriend.

Seacrest has recently announced, during an interview on the Chelsea Lately show, intentions to marry his sweetheart and even have kids.

“We both do. She's so beautiful ... stunning. She's the best part of every day,” he says.

“I flew in from Nashville - I was at my sister's baby shower - and I walked in right as he was on and he looked so hot. He looked so cute! I got all giddy because it was super exciting to see my man on TV. I was so proud of him,” Hough describes of seeing Seacrest hosting the Grammy Awards pre-show.

As we wrote in January, Hough has spoken out about her unhappy childhood, littered with incidents of abuse.

“I was abused, mentally, physically, everything. [...] I was a tormented little kid who had to put on this façade because that was my job and my life. But my heart was the same, and I was this innocent little girl. I wanted so much love,” she recalled.
