Earlier this week, rumors really started to pick up that actress Julia Roberts was probably expecting her fourth child with her husband, after she’d been photographed in a series of loose outfits that could have hidden a baby bump.

The other day, the always-charming Julia stopped by David Letterman to promote her latest movie, “August: Osage County” and, though she did not address the rumors directly, she made sure she slammed them into oblivion: she is not pregnant.

You can see the brief exchange in the first video embedded below, at the end of the article. Letterman asked her how her three kids were doing and how they were preparing for Christmas, and then casually dropped “Have you ever thought of adding to the group?”

“Oh, sure!,” Julia replied, only to utter a very determined “No” when asked if there was “any chance of that happening.” So, to all those baby bump watchers and to all the fans who were thinking she was carrying her fourth child, Julia has this to say: don’t believe the hype because there’s no truth to it.

In the same interview, as you can see in the other two videos included with this article, the 46-year-old actress talked about the audition for her breakout role, recalling how, on the way home from it, the dye she’d used to make her hair jet black starting to come out because of a heavy shower of rain.

“I looked like Carrie,” Julia laughed.

The laughing turned to tears of joy when Letterman, who had been sending her flowers for the past 15 years on her birthday but forgot to do the same this year, made up for the oversight by literally covering her in flowers.

Julia and husband Danny Moder were married in 2009 and have 9-year-old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus and 6-year-old Henry – and no bun in the oven.
