The Creative Assembly reveals that the Julia, the Cornelia and the Junia are the Roman houses that players will be able to choose from when playing the next game in the Total War strategy series.

The first Rome game from the developer initially only allowed players to choose between three houses and many of them were unhappy with the limitation.

The Creative Assembly has not revealed whether the new families play a similar role or they are just designed to add specific flavor while the gamer controls the entire Roman faction.

The developers also offer some information on the advantages of the Roman faction, saying it “benefits economically from its excellence in metalwork, enjoys enhanced military development, and can exploit the masses in order to maintain public order.”

Total War: Rome 2 will be launched in late 2013.
