14 DAY TRIAL // After quite a few leaks, Sony and developer thatgamecompany have finally posted the official details for the upcoming Journey Collector’s Edition, a special retail version of the popular downloadable PS3 game, which includes previous titles from the studio and many other goodies.
Journey came out this spring and set a sales record on the PlayStation Network, as millions of PS3 owners wanted to experience the new title from thatgamecompany, the studio which had already released Flow and Flower onto the PSN a few years ago.
Now, as a special token of appreciation, a Journey Collector’s Edition has been revealed, which includes not just the actual game, but also Flow and Flower, as well as plenty of other goodies.

What’s more, the mini-games will offer some pretty unique experiences, according to the studio, as they were actually made during a 24-hour Game Jam, in which they were thought of, developed and completed.
“For the first time ever, thatgamecompany’s mini-games Gravediggers, Duke War!!, and Nostril Shot, will be available to play outside of our studio. We share these extra treats as a “thank you” to our players for supporting us over the years. In case the names didn’t already give it away, these mini-games showcase thatgamecompany’s lighter side with screwball competitive multiplayer action. We hope you sincerely enjoy their silliness as much as we have.”
Journey Collector’s Edition is set to appear in North American retail stores on August 28 for just $29.99 (around €23.97). As of yet, a release date for Europe hasn’t been made available.
