If you want to rush apocalypse, you might as well vote for Romney

Joss Whedon, director of “The Avengers,” pretty much like most celebrities in Hollywood these days, is going political. Check out his recent anti-Mitt Romney video above.

Speaking straight into the camera from what looks like his home, Whedon compares Romney’s becoming President to something he knows only too well: the zombie apocalypse.

Romney is ready to make the deep rollbacks in healthcare, education, social services, and reproductive rights that will guarantee poverty, unemployment, overpopulation, disease, rioting – all crucial elements in creating a nightmare zombie wasteland,” he says.

With Romney as President, no one will actually have to worry about the 1 percent, being too busy making friends with those with special physical skills, skills that will ultimately make all the difference in the fight for survival.

You should be around those who run fast, know Parkour or are skilled in combat, Whedon says.

Before you head out to cast your vote for Romney, remember to do one more thing: start buying canned goods because you’ll be needing them when the apocalypse arrives.
