Police have found the dead body of "MasterChef" finalist Josh Marks in an alley in Chicago. The star chef has apparently committed suicide, but the results of an autopsy are still pending.

According to a spokesperson for the Chicago Police Department, 26-year-old Marks died from a gun shot wound to the head. Officials believe that the wound has been self inflicted.

TMZ described that the 911 call came in on Friday, from a distraught, screaming female caller. Her identity has not been revealed, and no further details are available at this point.

Marks was ordered to get medical assistance for mental issues after a July 31 altercation with University of Chicago police officers. He was charged with aggravated battery on a police officer.

NBC wrote that the cook believed that he was turned into God and possessed by Gordon Ramsay.

He also admitted to being diagnosed with bipolar disorder and made a video for an organization which aids people with depression and suicidal thoughts.

The video for the Make a Sound Project features him talking about his issues with mental health, and it can also be watched below.
