The Poseidon star feels it's high time for him to quit womanizing around, settle down and start a family at some point.
Lucas has stopped his womanizing ways with no connection to the almost death experience he had during shooting for the Poseidon. He just feels he's "womanized out" and is happy to be single for a while. Family plans are to be considered for the future, he also added.
Josh Lucas is a lucky guy: he dated Salma Hayek for a year. Now the female population of the planet who had no idea who he was will certainly remember him from Poseidon.
While giving an interview about his latest the actor confessed: "I'm about to turn 35 and I want a family. I can feel it in me. Otherwise the rewards of bouncing around become limited, for sure."
The actor also told the story of his almost drowning incident while on set for Poseidon. Everything started with his determination to do all his own stunts because it would make the action scenes more realistic - but his decision almost resulted in disastrous consequences.
He recalls: "I got caught on a wire underwater. The safety people and camera people couldn't see me, and there was like two inches of breathing room. I got trapped and disoriented, I was starting to lose my breath and there was nowhere to go."
